First Birthday sessions are so much fun!
Photographing little one’s First Birthday sessions are so much fun. These types of sessions can be so unpredictable – which for me makes it extra fun. Sometimes they run off “stage”, sometimes they sit there so content, but we can always count on them being so darn adorable!
For this session we started by taking photos of this little one’s milestones. Standing, Walking, Clapping and Smiling. The last thing we did was introduce her to that yummy pink-frosted cake. The reason I do this is because Babies + Food = Messy! Basically, once the birthday girl is done with her cake and photos, we take her straight to the bath so mom can clean her up while I clean up cake and frosting from my home studio. Having my studio set up in my home is beneficial for these sessions as I open my home up for the parents to give their kiddos a bath after messy photo shoots!
