Having photos taken of your newborn is so exciting! Newborns change so very quickly in those first few weeks so you may be wondering when you should schedule your session.
Below, I will answer some common questions I get asked in regard to scheduling a newborn session with me.
How old does my baby need to be for their newborn session?
There is a little flexibility here and it's dependent on what style of Newborn Photos you'd like. I offer both posed and lifestyle newborn sessions. A posed session is what I do most where the baby is on a backdrop or in a prop. Posed sessions also include studio-style posed family photos. A lifestyle session is more of a laid back style of photography where I would come to your home and photograph the baby snuggling with you and your family around your home incorporating the nursery and other personal touches. Family photos for these are generally more relaxed and have a different feel.
Posed Session (most common and shown below) - I like to have those sessions scheduled anytime between 6 and 16ish days after birth.
