Shutterfly Interactive Photo Inspiration
All photography sessions are special in their own way, but one of the most exciting types of sessions for me to capture is a maternity session. Seeing the glow in an expectant mother’s face and the excitement in the father’s eyes make for a very beautiful and special moment.
Whether you are pregnant with your first or third child, this is something you want to document. Every pregnancy is different and it is so special to be able to look back on this moment in your life.
My biggest piece of advice is to brainstorm ideas and share them with your photographer. If you are in need of inspiration, Shutterfly created this helpful interactive that features 100 maternity photo ideas (including some of my maternity photos!). As a photographer, it is so nice to be able to look at various forms of inspiration while preparing for a session.
The best part about taking these photos is that you can include them in your baby shower invitations or a custom album designed by both you and me. They can be incorporated into a book or album along with newborn and/or milestone images of your child.
